Search Resources

As I said in the introduction, not all information needs are good candidates for a professional search. The following is a collection of Internet information resources. If you haven't done so already, take a few minutes to look at these before deciding whether or not to contract my services.

GoogleThis is the premiere all-purpose search engine. If you haven't checked Google, you haven't searched.
YahooYahoo is actually older than Google, but it has lost its top spot as Internet search engine champion. Still, not a bad place to look, just for thoroughness.
BingBing is Microsot's latest entry into the search engine game. If you're a visual person, Bing may appeal to you.
Classmates.comClassmates.com allows you to find old friends and acquaintances. It's been eclipsed by Facebook in recent years, but there are still some people who are on Classmates.com and not Facebook.
FacebookIf you're looking to reconnect with a long-lost someone, Facebook might be the best place to look.
Ancestry.comIf you want to find out about your family tree, Ancestry.com is a good place to start. Like Classmates.com, though, it's a premium service.
